Disability

Disability Cricket in Somerset

Disability cricket is thriving within the County of Somerset and further development of this sector is key to the Cricket Board. Somerset has a very strong disabled cricket team and also a visually impaired side, both of whom have achieved national success in recent years. Further details on both sides and how to access disability cricket can be found by email

As a Board we offer three pathways to access disability cricket;

1. Table Cricket Programme

2. All Ability Sessions (see below)

3. Open Spring Training

2. Monthly ALL ABILITY SESSIONS

In addition to our County Sides (Visually impaired and Disability) we also run a number of monthly sessions for anyone aged 14 and over who has a disability and wants to play cricket.  All activities are run by qualified and checked coaches.  We have sessions in the following venues;  Taunton Yeovil, Bridgwater, Weston Super Mare, Chard, Glastonbury and Frome.   If you are interested in attending any of these sessions and would like to know more detail, please see the above links.  Please also email for more information and to request a booking form for, please email

* The Yeovil Session is delivered in current Somerset Activity & Sports Partnership session and is almost at capcity, so this can only be offered on a case by case basis.
