Holiday Courses

Fun and inclusive group coaching sessions for various age groups during school holidays throughout the year.

School Holiday Courses

Each school holiday we run a number of courses for children in School Years 2 – 7. These courses involve a number of different cricket practises and games and are a great opportunity for players to improve their skills. The courses are delivered by our full-time community coaches who are experts in delivering enjoyable and engaging sessions to children.

All courses take place in the indoor school at The Centre of Excellence, Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton, TA1 IJT. Players will need to bring plenty to drink, lunch and snacks as well as appropriate indoor clothing (cricket whites are not necessary).

The cost of the course is just £15 and will be delivered by our full-time community coaches who are experts in delivering fun and engaging sessions to children.

Game Play

Our ‘Gameplay’ courses are 3 hour courses where players will get the opportunity to play a number of different games and scenarios where they have to work out how to be successful and achieve the end goal. The course will give players the opportunity to try different tactics and skills focused around batting, bowling and fielding.

Games will use a mixture of tennis balls and incredi balls with the aim around enjoyment and tactical improvement.

Powerplay Skills Day

Our ‘Powerplay Skills Day’ is a fantastic opportunity for players to practise and learn all the skills required to succeed in T20 cricket. Players will practise their batting, bowling and fielding skills before putting them to the test in games.
