School Holiday Courses
Each school holiday we run a number of courses for children in School Years 2 – 7. These courses involve a number of different cricket practises and games and are a great opportunity for players to improve their skills. The courses are delivered by our full-time community coaches who are experts in delivering enjoyable and engaging sessions to children.
All courses take place in the indoor school at The Centre of Excellence, Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton, TA1 IJT. Players will need to bring plenty to drink, lunch and snacks as well as appropriate indoor clothing (cricket whites are not necessary).

BLAST BATTING (BOOK HERE)
Wednesday 17th April, 2-5pm – School Years 2, 3, 4 & 5
‘Blast Batting’ is an Easter Holiday coaching course for boys and girls in School Years 2-5. Players will spend the afternoon practising their batting skills through a mixture of fun activities and games. Players will get the opportunity to hit lots of balls in a safe and nurturing environment developing their ball striking and power. Most importantly players will have a fantastic time!
The cost of the course is just £15 and will be delivered by our full-time community coaches who are experts in delivering fun sessions to children.

Other Courses Information
These courses will be running during the Summer Holiday.
School Years 2,3 & 4 course
The School Years 2, 3 & 4 course will involve lots of softball games and activities and will give the players the opportunity to bat, bowl and catch their way through the holiday! Players on the course do not need any cricket equipment; however they are more than welcome to bring their bats if they would like to.
School Years 5, 6 & 7 course
The School Years 5, 6 & 7 course will give players the opportunity to improve their cricketing skills through a range of activities, practises and games. A mixture of softball and hardball (for appropriate players) activities will allow players to explore and develop their game in a positive environment. Players on the course will need all their cricket equipment (bat, pads, gloves, box, helmet) if they would like to bat against a hard ball. Players can attend just one, or both days. Each day will involve different activities.
